Just as rivers and streams can reshape our natural environment, so can the power of water be harnessed to sculpt and shape the body. Water-Jet Assisted Liposuction is an extraordinary innovation in modern plastic surgery and is ideal for hospitals, clinics and private practices.

Unlike conventional liposuction procedures, during the water-jet assisted liposuction (WAL) the fat is detached from the tissue structure with much less force, ensuring that the fat cells can be transplanted to more deserving parts of the body. Also, this gentle aspiration of fat cells ensures that the surrounding connective tissue as well as nerves and blood vessels are less traumatized thus reducing the pain and recovery time significantly. Using the water-jet, haematoma and injuries to the sensitive nerves located directly beneath the skin occur far less frequently. Also significant is that the majority of tissue strands beneath the skin, which are important for skin tightening, remain intact.

This revolution is the most precise liposuction available. It allows for the simultaneous irrigation and aspiration of fat cells, giving the physician direct control over the body’s contours and the amount of fluid introduced and aspirated throughout the whole operation. As a result, approximately 70% less tumescent fluid is introduced into the body significantly reducing the adverse effects of tumescent fluid during the procedure. This saves the physician and the patient theatre time and reduces the use of resources creating substantial cost savings.

AquaShape™ by Body-jet ® Click Here to Open The AquaShape™ procedure permanently removes fat cells leading to outstanding, long-lasting results.
Your AquaShape™ physician will use the Body-jet ® liposuction & fat transfer device to gently flush the fat from your body.
The fat is removed by a pulsating spray of water that dislodges and loosens your fat cells. The water and fat is then simultaneously suctioned out of the body together. For most patients, the procedure can be done in as little as 30 to 45 minutes, right in your doctor’s office.
